Operator Suspension System isolates the operator foot and seat platform via a coil-over shock and rubber iso-mounts. The operator platform (seat and foot plate) is suspended to deliver a smooth ride, with only three moving parts (front pivot, rear pivot and shock...that's it!). In addition to the platform, Quick-Fit control levers and 3-position deck lift foot pedal combine to provide unprecedented levels of adjustability and ergonomics.
Up to 16 MPH ground speeds keep productivity at a maximum. Two-speed, ZT-5400 transaxles = Low Range (up to 12MPH) and High Range (up to 16MPH). High Range is perfect for traveling from job site to job site in an industrial park or subdivision or for transport back to the trailer. High Range can be used for cutting in less demanding conditions, like late season cutting, laying patterns or cutting dry grass. Most general cutting is best performed in Low Range.

Instrument panel featuresTiger Eye Advanced Monitoring System keeps a constant, real-time "eye" on important system functions on your Scag Cheetah II. Depending on engine selection, a wide variety of systems are monitored in real-time, giving you valuable information in just a glance, right from the operator's seat. Backlit panel makes viewing easy in all conditions.
12V accessory plug allows charging of the phone and other small accessories.
Double tube steel main frame construction delivers superior strength and ensures years of trouble free service. This design is much stronger than "bolt together" frame designs. The main frame was designed for an ultra-low center-of-gravity to increase hillside stability.
The Ogura GT5 PTO Clutch Brake delivers up to 350 ft. lbs. of starting and stopping torque. Adjustable air gap ensures long component life and reduced maintenance costs. Other brands of electric clutch do not have adjustable air-gaps and once they are out of adjustment, they must be replaced.
Heavy-duty blade drive spindles provide reliable performance season after season. The Scag spindle easily handles the high horsepower and torque requirements of this powerful mower. Three-year limited warranty.
Standard equipment auxiliary canister air filter system on all Cheetah II's. This provides increased service intervals and longer engine life.
Easily adjust cutting heights from the seat with the convenient, easy to lift, 3-position adjustable foot pedal. Wide range of adjustment from 1.25" to 5" in 1/4" increments.

Foldable Rollover Protection System (ROPS) is standard equipment and easily fits into enclosed trailers. ROPS provides additional operator safety. Retractable seatbelts for added convenience. The low-hinge point ROPS design folds away without adding height or length to the mower when traveling under trees or low overhangs.
Extra-large 24 inch drive tires and up to 13 x 6.5 - 6 caster wheels ensure better traction, less turf tearing and easy curb climbing.
Flat-Free front caster tires virtually eliminate downtime and expense caused by flat front tires.
Tapered roller bearings are utilized in the front caster wheels and in the caster pivots for durability and reduced maintenance. Low profile dust caps on the caster yoke pivots resist damage from impacts and foreign objects.
The front caster extension is replaceable in the event of damage from an impact.
"Split-Steel" pulleys are used on load carrying areas like the cutter deck spindles and pump drive systems. Split steel pulleys are stronger than cast iron or stamped pulley designs. Our pulleys are strong for long life and lightweight for reduced inertia and decreased wear on the cutter deck drive system, including the PTO clutch.
No plastic pulleys - Some [other brands] actually use plastic pulleys on their mowers. Not Scag. All Scag pulleys are made from metal. Plastic is for toys.
High-quality bearings and bearing debris guard on idler pulleys ensure long, reliable service.
Flip-up footplate panel for access to center blade spindle, blade bolt and the top of the cutter deck.
User-friendly mower design allows quick, clean access to the engine and filters, for easy maintenance.
Spring loaded idler arms effortlessly keep belts in constant, optimum adjustment for maximum life and minimum maintenance.
Excellent hillside stability due to an exceptionally low center-of-gravity and extra wide stance.
The Scag "Simply the Best" commercial warranty stands behind you and your mower for years of profitable service.
High-strength cutter blades stay sharp longer for reduced maintenance.
High quality electrical components such as switches, wiring and harness looms are used throughout the Scag mower line for trouble-free service. In-line sealed fuses are easily accessible should they need to be replaced.
"From start with the sales guy on the phone to the call back to set up the delivery to finish with delivery guy to my drive the service was fantastic. I have shopped around for the last month and knew the kind of riding mower I wanted. After talking to several other dealers including the Cub Cadet company themselves, Wellington Implement was hands down the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This was the first time I've used them and they for sure have a new customer in the future. I am very happy with the service."
"Pam, Brad and the service staff at Ashland exceeded expectations. They were respectful of my time. Communicated clearly without excuses, prompt in returning phone calls and helped to solve my issues with a down mower. They treated me as a customer although I hadn't purchased there yet.
Ready for a replacement, I had several options purchasing a new scag . Seeing value past the product, knowing this dealership will keep people productive and successful. My previous experience with Service built a confidence that reasonable expectations will be taken care of after the sale. Josh in the sales department did great. He didn't waste my time, adapted and communicated through my platforms promptly. The sale was simple, efficient and personable.
Overall, this organization is well run and the entire crew works with purpose. Happy to see unity and not egos. I will be purchasing more here. Thanks!"
"When I was looking at everyone from Home Depot to TSC, to C & C sales, Farm and Home Hardware and others, a farmer friend of mine dropped off your sales circular and simply said, "a dealer will take care of you" and I told him, "yeah, probably if I was buying a $40,000 tractor", but I was wrong. You guys were great."
"Thanks for the help with the combine. (The other local Case IH dealer chain) showed up last night and changed the configurations. Works fantastic now. This is the second time you and your guys have saved us on equipment that we didn't purchase from you. It really shows us the kind of company you are running and we really appreciate it."

"In our pursuit of a new dependable tractor we reviewed our options of a Troy-bilt and a Cub Cadet. We visited the box stores to view both brand named units. The box stores reviewed with us the different features of both units. At Home Depot the store sales group stated that there was no security to insure that any units had not been tampered with. The units did not have any mechanic to insure the blades were in balance. Any unit including Cub Cadet would need to get additional servicing before usage. We decided to visit our nearest Cub Cadet Dealer which was Wellington Implement. We showed up at just as they were closing for the day. John Scheerer stopped and showed us around on his own time. He went through all the different units available at his location. We took some time to decide on which unit would work for our property. We had to measure to make sure the unit would fit through our storage barn doors. Our Barn measured 50” so the LTX 1046 tractor with the 48” deck would be perfect. The following week we returned to Wellington Implement to make our final decision. We met with sales man, Don Wacker. He let me sit on the LTX 1046 unit I was interested in, showed me all the great options. This was the selling point that I needed. I told him this would be the easiest sale he ever had. We walked into his office and signed the papers. I could not take the unit that day. Don told me about the 9 points that the dealership would review before my unit was ready for pickup. The blades were balanced, the tire inflation was checked, the battery was checked for a full charge, the oil was topped off, the fuel tank was filled the unit had been started and run. We had full warranty through their dealership. If our unit needed any service they would come and pick it up for servicing. Our unit was running when it was placed in our truck. The parking brake was set and we were on our way. At our location, we were ready to unload the tractor. We started it up and drove it down our ramps and we were ready to cut. I’m glad I took the time to make the decision to purchase a Cub Cadet from a dealership. We were treated great. It was a pleasure doing business with Wellington Implement and their team. I would recommend anyone to visit and purchase a unit from Wellington Implement. We are proud to be part of the Cub Cadet Family”
