Great Plains MPS2609
The MPS26 Multi-Purpose Seeder, available in 7', 9', and 11' widths, makes quick work of renovating pastures, reclaiming rights-of-way, and planting food plots.
Designed for ease of use, the MPS26 Seeder is simple to set, operate, and adjust. Metering is ground-driven by the rear packer roller. Any of the three seed boxes – main, small seeds, or optional native grass – can easily be disengaged with simple lockout pins on each drive sprocket, or all of the boxes can be locked out with one pin on the main sprocket.

3-SPEED TRANSMISSION (MPS26 SERIES)
On units equipped with the native grass box, separate drive systems allow for seeding three different products at three different rates, all in one pass.
4-SPEED GEARBOX (MPS25 SERIES)
Changing seed rates is quick and effortless with these permanently lubricated, sealed gearboxes.
AVAILABLE WITH TWO BOXES OR OPTIONAL THIRD BOX
Standard is a regular seed box and a small seeds box. An optional native grass box can be factory-installed to seed warm-season, fluffy grasses.
GROUND-DRIVEN WITH GROUND-ENGAGING ROLLER
The rear packer roller utilizes notched rings to drive the metering unit as the roller firms the seed in place. Each ring is 11 3/8" in diameter and is constructed from cast gray iron for strength and durability.
LOCKOUT CLUTCH
Easily disengage drive sprockets with Great Plains' patent-pending lockout clutch on all boxes.
MANUALLY-ADJUSTABLE FRONT ROLLER
Controls how aggressively soil is prepped for the seedbed. Can be run with minimum soil disturbance or set to a more aggressive angle for more tillage.
MUD SCRAPERS
Placed on the rear packer roller to keep soil from compacting on roller in damp conditions.
NATIVE GRASS
The optional native grass seed box is equipped with a walk board to make filling the main box easier.
NATIVE GRASS AGITATORS
Optional native grass box uses agitators to keep the seed flowing toward the picker wheel.
PULL-TYPE OR 3-POINT MOUNTED OPTIONS
The unique design allows the machine to be converted from a 3-point to a pull-type by adding a tongue and hydraulic gauge wheels.
