Mobile Service Technician – Outdoor Power Equipment
Location: Medina, OH (Service Radius: Surrounding Communities)
Reports to: Medina Service Manager
Wellington Implement is a trusted, family-operated dealership serving customers across Northern Ohio through three locations. As a Case IH Pinnacle dealership, we take pride in offering best-in-class service to farmers, homeowners, and commercial property owners.
We are expanding our service offering and hiring a Mobile Service Technician to provide on-site equipment maintenance and light repair for our customers. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys working independently, delivering great customer experiences, and having a mobile workshop at their fingertips.
We provide a well-equipped service vehicle, strong support from our shop team, and a culture focused on professional development, safety, and pride in workmanship.
What You’ll Do

Perform on-site maintenance and light repair on outdoor power equipment such as zero-turns, riding mowers, and small tractors.

Diagnose customer concerns, communicate findings clearly, and provide real-time solutions when possible.

Complete routine maintenance such as seasonal tune-ups, safety inspections, blade services, belt replacements, and general upkeep.

Document all parts used, labor performed, and service notes using mobile technology.

Identify upcoming maintenance needs and sell and schedule next year’s annual service while on-site.

Maintain the service vehicle as a clean, organized, and professional mobile workshop.

Represent Wellington Implement professionally in every customer interaction.

Support the shop team during the off-season or when additional help is needed.

Provide UTV/side-by-side service as the mobile program expands.
This Job Is for You If You Have
-
Experience servicing outdoor power equipment (zero-turns, riders, small tractors).

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

Knowledge of gasoline engines (4-stroke), small diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read wiring diagrams and parts schematics.

Ability to use mobile/tablet systems for work orders and parts lookup.

Strong communication skills — in person, phone, text, and email.

A professional appearance and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Self-motivated, independent, and takes pride in quality work.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
