Job Title: Parts Intern
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily tasks of our Parts Department. You will be learning and assisting with customer service, problem-solving machine breakdowns, and assembly of some products. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Parts Team and become a reliable team member throughout the busy season. They will have exceptional communication skills and general computer skills with a great attitude and good teamwork. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a preferred interest or background in small engine or compact equipment.
Responsibilities:

Provide excellent communication and customer service to customers with parts needs.

Assist and problem-solve with technicians to find parts needed for machines in the shop.

Answering phones and following up with customers on parts inquiries and statuses.

Assist with fairs, events, customer days, parts sales, etc.

Assemble some products, toys, outdoor power equipment, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:

Current high school, technical school, or college student enrolled or interested in a small engine, compact equipment, or related field of study.

Exceptional communication and willingness to listen and learn.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

General computer skills and customer service skills.
