About the Role
Wellington Implement is seeking a dynamic Power Equipment Team Sales Manager to lead and grow our Yellow Team, serving homeowners, landscapers, municipalities, and light construction professionals.
This position is ideal for a proven sales leader who understands our industries, values teamwork, and is motivated to drive results while developing people.
As the Yellow Team leader, you’ll be responsible for achieving sales and profitability goals, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring your team delivers the “Ultimate Equipment Experience.”
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development

Build, coach, and retain a motivated sales team focused on outdoor power, compact utility, and light construction equipment.

Foster a culture rooted in Wellington Implement’s core values: Exceptional Communication, Dedication, Selfless Leadership, and Compassion.

Support professional growth through mentoring, training, and consistent feedback.
Financial Performance

Achieve sales, margin, and budget goals for the Yellow Team.

Manage trade valuations, financing structures, and inventory aging to ensure dealership profitability.

Develop seasonal sales strategies and off-season plans to maintain consistent performance.
Market & Customer Growth

Strengthen relationships with landscapers, contractors, and property owners to expand market share.

Deliver customer-focused solutions that improve productivity and profitability.

Represent Wellington Implement as a trusted partner for outdoor power, property maintenance, and light construction needs.
Inventory & Vendor Management

Work with the Inventory Manager to maintain the right mix of products for each season and customer base.

Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to secure programs, products, and promotional opportunities.

Oversee marketing initiatives to promote used and aging equipment effectively.
Cross-Team Collaboration

Partner with service, parts, accounting, and marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Coordinate open houses, demonstrations, and community events showcasing Yellow Team expertise.
Qualifications

Proven success in sales leadership within outdoor power, property maintenance, or light construction industries.
