Wellington Implement is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ag Service Technician to join our award-winning Case IH service team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with extensive experience servicing today's advanced agricultural equipment and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.

Position Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced agricultural equipment including combines, tractors, planters, sprayers, precision farming systems.

Analyze customer concerns and provide effective solutions to maximize uptime and productivity.

Perform advanced mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and precision technology diagnostics.

Share knowledge and mentor fellow technicians to strengthen overall team performance.

Assist customers and management with repair recommendations and preventative maintenance planning.

Accurately document work performed, parts utilized, and labor hours using electronic work order systems.

Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Maintain service tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent condition.

Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Participate in OEM training and stay current on emerging technologies and equipment updates.

Perform field service work as required during peak seasons.

Required Qualifications

15–20 years of experience as a large agricultural equipment technician.

Minimum 10 years of experience servicing Case IH and/or New Holland equipment.

Valid Class B CDL required; Class A CDL preferred.

Extensive experience diagnosing and repairing modern agricultural equipment.

Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, electronics, and precision farming technologies.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical service information.

Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.

Strong computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize OEM software and electronic service documentation.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in both shop and field environments.

Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and seasonal overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

Case IH or OEM Sprayer Certification.

Case IH or OEM Planter Certification.

Precision Farming and Advanced Electronics certifications.

Experience mentoring technicians or serving as a technical leader within a service department.
